This web site is proudly powered by WordPress, customized from version 1.5. The design is based on the plugin version of Kubrick, with additional design inspiration from Matt and Keith.
The following plugins are used to get this website to do what I want it to do:
- Code Beautifier - for prettier code listings. This has been customized in various ways to get it to work better for me and still isn’t quite perfect.
- BlackList - to help stave off the fiendish comment spammers.
- Customizable Post Listings - Actually, I’ve modified this one significantly. If you’re looking to have some of the features you see on my site, you may want to see this post.
- Search Hilite - which is one of the old standbys of WordPress installations.
- Header Image Generator - to generate those sexy graphical titles. Note again that this has been heavily modified, so if you want my enhanced version see this post.
- Dunstan’s Time Since - provides those nice “Posted 2 years, 1 month ago” labels.
- Gravatar - delightful plugin that makes Gravatars possible in WordPress installations. Fun little fluffy goodness.
- RunPHP - plugin that enables execution of PHP code from within posts. Used sparingly but to good effect for some static pages… like this one.
