&lt;p&gt;That commenterâ€™s link, though obviously topical, helpful, and useful to the humans that visit the site, is ignored by search engines due to nofollow and therefore the â€œWebâ€ part of the web ends at that comment. The overall net result would tend toward â€œblog isolationism.â€&lt;/p&gt;

		<description>&lt;p&gt;I don't read a lot but you write well. That's for sure. Of course, nowadays people want their stuff in the form of a weblog. Nothing wrong with fads. But my feeling is that your brain is too logical for this format. If you start a proper website with proper sections on how to handle nofollow or how to take care of referral spam, you'll feel lot more satisfied with yourself. I'll be a perpetual visitor for sure.&lt;/p&gt;
