Half-Life 2 for free

__NOTE: The copy is gone. Please don’t ask me to gift it to you.__ Thanks to my buddy Dave giving me the Half-Life 2 Orange Box for the PC, I now have a free electronic copy of the original Half-Life 2 to giveaway. All you need is a Steam account and I’ll “gift” the game to you.

Perhaps at this point I should actually finish it as well. I never did. Though with Portal and Team Fortress 2, that’s a tough call. They’ve really put a lot of value into this package with 5 pieces of content. Admittedly, some of the content is old but that doesn’t mean it isn’t still valuable.

Was it able to find me? I don’t see the new game in my Steam games list or anything on my Steam Community stuff.

Yup, the system is content. Note that you have to act on an email sent to the email account associated with your Steam ID in order for it to work. At least, that’s what the Steam gifts page says.

“I sent an Orange Box gift to a friend, but that person never received it. What now?

You can resend gifts in case your friend’s email gift message was lost. If you are resending to a new (or corrected) email address you should be able to resend immediately. If you are attempting to resend it to the same email address the Steam system requires that you wait 24 hours to prevent the spamming of users. When you resend a gift the previously generated email will become invalid and the “accept” link within it will no longer work. Your friend must use the latest version of the email when accepting the gift.

Could you possibly resend it? It never seemed to have made it to my inbox…

    Hi!

I have been a long time user of steam, however I simply can’t afford the orange box yet. If it still isn’t taken – I would gladly accept it.

    My steam account is: themakattack

Thank you so much, and don’t worry if you can’t give it to me.

    Regards,

    Mak
