It’s been reported in numerous places — here’s one — that at least one retailer has broken the November 9th street date for (my beloved) Halo 2 and cretins of all manner are blatantly playing the (precious) game right now all across the midwest. So, me being me, I headed over to my friendly neighborhood EB Games to try to, you know, coax the guy into giving me my damned game today.
Congrats, EB Games, you train your droids well. I stood as much chance of walking out holding my preordered Collector’s Edition box as I did of sprouting a perfectly-formed kumquat from my nipple. My Jedi mind powers were trumped by the pure, indomitable, retailness encountered therein. Oh, he would have gladly sold me a shirt or a poster, but that game shall remain safely behind the counter until sometime well into the evening 3 days hence.
I wonder how good their security system is?

y was just drop-in simple. However, my site is relatively narrow in design, and some of my longer titles didn’t fit. There was no word [...]
Oh yes, I had to attempt it. I even went back today thinking maybe on the day before release they might cut me some slack. Same damned guy was there.
lol, you actually tried that? i thought it wouldn’t be as hard to get that copy. it’s probably better to head down to smaller stalls though
