Hope you have a good one. On the first day of 2004, I got to watch my alma mater, Florida State, get savagely molested up and down the field in the Orange Bowl. Any of you high school kickers that can reliably kick field goals at least 3% of the time, howzabout giving FSU a look, huh? Not that I blame Beitia entirely. Listen Rix, if you’re going to be as cocky as you are, play well… 18 yards of passing offense in the second half simply will not cut it. Eh, like I care. I was asleep when this one ended. I mean really, an 8:30PM start for an east coast game? I’m old and worn, I don’t stay up until midnight to watch football games.
Now Dick Clark on the other hand, that’s excitement. There’s something inspiring about a 74-year-old whoopin’ it up on national TV. By all rights he should be a shambling horror and not the sprightly, perfectly coiffed specimen seen Wednesday night. Let’s hear it for modern medical science.
