coldforged.org is a personal weblog. It was started on August 23rd, 2002 and had an immediate readership of right around one — less if you exclude the author. Since then coldforged.org has seen 4 hosting changes, a switch from Movable Type to WordPress, countless design changes, and a vastly expanded readership in the lower to mid ones. As of right now there are 1077 posts and 10458 comments posted here. The topics tend to range wildly, from gaming to politics, from baby talk to music and woodworking. I try to post daily but I have been known to flag on that. For more technical information, please see the colophon.
Privacy
Nobody likes to be bothered. Email addresses are never displayed on the site and are never used with the occasional exception for when people request that I contact them personally via the given email address.
Comment Policy
You are welcome and encouraged to comment on the content or presentation of my site. Anyone is welcome to comment. Comments that I determine do not further the conversation or are made primarily for some other consideration can and will be removed by me without warning and generally without recourse. Note that I am exceedingly liberal in my policy, and will generally only remove comments that are either solely for commercial gain — like bumping up Google rank or merely advertising a product — or patently offensive. Yes, both of those determinations are made by me. It’s good to be the King.
